1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your use of Eden At Home’s website and childcare services. By booking or registering with us, you agree to these terms.

2. Our Service

We act as a babysitting agency, providing:

  • Verified, vetted sitters
  • Matching services
  • Communication and booking support

We do not provide childminding or nursery services.

3. Client Responsibilities

By booking a sitter, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete information
  • Maintain a safe environment for sitters
  • Return home at the agreed time or notify us of changes
  • Pay all fees and overtime rates
  • Follow all agency guidelines
  • Not attempt to privately book our sitter outside the agency (non‑solicitation)

4. Babysitter Responsibilities

Babysitters agree to:

  • Provide safe, professional childcare
  • Follow the family’s reasonable instructions
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Arrive on time and notify of delays
  • Follow safeguarding and agency policies

5. Booking & Cancellation

  • Bookings must be confirmed through our platform or team
  • Cancellations within less than 24 hours may incur fees
  • Emergency/last‑minute bookings are subject to availability

6. Payment Terms

  • All payments are processed through the agency
  • Hourly rates, overtime rates, weekend and overnight fees apply as listed
  • Subscription plan users must adhere to included hours and overage rates
  • Payments must not be made directly to sitters

7. Safety & Compliance

We ensure:

  • DBS checks (enhanced when required)
  • ID verification
  • Reference checks
  • Relevant training verification

Parents must provide accurate medical and behavioural information about their children.

8. Liability

We maintain appropriate insurance; however:

  • We are not liable for loss or damage caused by misinformation provided by clients
  • We are not liable for events outside our reasonable control
  • The Company engages individuals (“Employees” or “Sitters”) to provide sitting services to clients as at-will employees of the Company.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

  • Unsafe behaviour
  • Breach of terms
  • Non‑payment
  • Attempting to bypass the agency

Users may terminate their account anytime by contacting us.

10. Non‑Solicitation

Clients agree not to hire sitters from our agency privately during or up to 12 months after the last booking without agency permission.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Updated versions will be posted on our website.
